Hello Nice Peoples my name is Rufus!

No one really knows my back story, just that I was dumped by an evil person on the side of a mountain where I managed to survive for WEEKS.

Some super nice Ladies saw me and tried and tried and TRIED until one day they managed to capture me and that was one of the best days of my life, I didn’t have to worry about packs of coyotes, mountain lions, etc and I was finally fed a REAL MEAL.

They took me to the shelter in case somehow I got loose/lost so my owners could find me.

NO. ONE. EVER. CAME.

I got lucky because this rescue knew my story of how I lived in those hills ALONE and now I was at the pound while we are having a major shelter crisis, so they bailed me out of jail-yahoooooo!!!!

They took me to a vet to get treated and then off to training so I can be the BEST DOGGO!

I’m a 1 year old male Cane Corso and I have the most stunning brindle coat, I’m fixed, microchipped, and up to date on shots too!

I need to gain a few pounds and I will end up being around 100 pounds so if Big Boys are your thing maybe we are a good fit??

Plus, I’ve been professionally trained and am crate and potty trained too!

The rescue is still getting to know me so right now I’d be best as the only doggo in the house and no small pets or small kids.
